Paititi Peru is a Peruvian travel company that has organized volunteer placements for visitors to teach in schools in small jungle villages in Peru. This is designed for people who would like to become part of a village for a month or a few months, help the school teach English, and help out in other ways while learning Spanish and learning what it is like to live in a small jungle village. Volunteers pay their travel and living costs; this is not sponsored by government or a charitable organization.
